Privacy Policy

CIRCLO is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace for Islamabad and Rawalpindi. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

Information we collect

  • Account details — your name, email address, and phone number, provided when you sign up or when you sign in with Google.
  • Identity verification — your CNIC number and a selfie photo, submitted when you choose to verify your account. These are used only to confirm you are a real person before you rent or list items.
  • Listing and booking data — the items you list, their photos and descriptions, and the rental requests, bookings, messages, and any dispute or damage evidence exchanged between renters and owners.
  • Payment records — records of payments you send or receive through the platform. CIRCLO does not store card numbers or bank passwords.
  • Technical data — basic log information (such as your IP address and browser type) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

  • To create and operate your account and let you log in.
  • To verify your identity and reduce fraud on the marketplace.
  • To connect renters and owners, process bookings, and show the other party the information they need to complete a rental (for example, your name and contact details once a booking is confirmed).
  • To send transactional emails such as password resets and booking notifications.
  • To investigate disputes, damage claims, and reports of fraud or abuse.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share information only with other CIRCLO users as needed to complete a rental, and with service providers that help us run the platform (such as our email delivery and cloud hosting providers) under agreements that limit their use of the data. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Signing in with Google

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and verified email address from your Google account to create or match your CIRCLO account. We do not receive your Google password and we do not access any other Google data.

Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data by emailing the address below.
